Targeted by Courts
Targeted by Law
Targeted by the Right
And the Left as well
Targeted by the media
Movies and news
Celebrities hated on him
Musicians despised too
Athletes talked him down
But he survived
The country is divided
The laws rewritten to serve their narrative
Elites are not far behind… with their campaign
Of mud, they threw at him, hoping to hurt
To remove, stop, or in some way delay
Failure became their daily sonnet
As the treachery was laid bare
Their final plan was to end his life
A bullet at a time
The bulwark of freedom held fast
As the angels intervened
Evil overstepped
Their plan made not of their own design
Some things are preordained
Some stories are already written
And in that moment, the stars aligned
Their history never occurred
They bled the man
Their shot missed the mark
He rose from the assassins blow
Raised his fist to defy even Satan himself
And cried ,”Fight!”
At that moment, they lost the battle
Because even though the blow was thrown
They missed.

The Prison of The Moment
I spent another day alone without you
Each moment together is a breath of air
In the vacuum of the desolate emptiness
Cascading forward in cyclical fashion
Alone in my reverie
Alone in my mind
I contemplate your moments away
Moments with others
My jealous heart crys out for solace
For tender moments together
Each like rain on a barren parched vista
Renewing hope in hopeless time
My soul craves you, calls to you, desires you
You time my greatest treasure
My secret obsession
Longing for the moment
When you finally focus not on others
Or career , or a thousand other endeavors
Longing for the moment, you are solely mine
This thought has become my cherished treasure
My hidden desire
My secret obsession
My prize for the prison of my tortured time
I had to endure watching my dream carried out with another for the world to witness
While I remained unknown
That prize is your time, your touch, your kiss
In the end, my ultimate prize
Is
You.

In the Image of My Heart
The real me exists beyond your conceptions
Beyond your beliefs
I’m something you may not understand
Because my experience is not yours
The heart I share was forged in pain
Through the fire of betrayal
And loneliness
I exist because I moved beyond it
I just breathed
And kept moving
Beyond the hateful words
Beyond the narcissistic control of the world
I simply moved beyond it
And kept moving
Love the greatest power
The greatest curse
It forces us to open up
For good or bad
We make ourselves vulnerable
For the chance of saking
The cold emptiness
For a second of caring
A instant of warmth
A chance for peace
To stave off the chaotic void
Of the solitary mind.
That faces the endless moments
Hours, days questioning
Am I needed for me?
Or simply as a stepping stone
To another’s desires?
An Original Poem by H.R Beebe
A Models Dilemma
A question of sincerity
In the matters of the heart
Can you feel my fidelity
Have known it from the start
Commitments and career
Secrets silent , deeds done
Where do we stand at the end of day
Together or apart?
It’s about loyalty
It’s about love
Is it true, honesty
Or just shadows on the wall?
Where is your heart at?
Do you really feel me there
Do you really care?
Do you see the future
Me and you
One mind.. one soul
Or a convenience of the moment
Am I standing alone?
Words are the easy part
Desires , wants , needs
Am I your forever?
Is that how I’m seen?
The miles stand between us
Each is like a question about your real desire
Do you really stand with me
Or is this just a dream?
Money for now or destiny
Fate or a wicked game
Is it me you really want?
Or just satisfaction you crave?
When I see you on the screen with another
It’s a hammer blow to my heart
What’s the truth, what’s an act?
Do you really know?
And, if you did, would you really say?
The question remains …
Will you be with me … at the end of the day?
An Original Poem by H.R Beebe
Rise
Stand against the dying of the light
Dare not let freedom wain
As the blood of the honorable spills
And the evil gathers
It’s the fearless soul that shouts. “Never!”
To the beasts that attempt to devour
The righteous man
Who withstand the winds of indignation
The Narcissistic Horde
And stand steadfast in the face of darkness
Who stands alone
The indomitable will to persevere
Any adversity shown
And endure the pain of betrayal
And though struck down by the powers of this world
Overcome their fears of the unknown
Of the their own demons
And when the enemy thinks they have triumphed
In that moment
They Rise…
An Original Poem by H.R Beebe
A Realization: In The War of The Soul
In silence, I face my mortal enemy
Cold cruelty his legacy
I know his bitter Rath
His capacity for destruction
When pushed, he releases that hatred
That pain
A lifetime of challenge
Faced alone
Brought to the brink
A multitude of times
He lost everything in pursuit
Of understanding
Of knowledge
The why drove him to sacrifice
His body
His mind
All that he loved was taken from him
He persevered
He remained when they all fell away
Death has stalked him
As the storms raged
And the armies gathered
He stood in the tempest
And shouted his defiance
Understood his worth
Refused defeat
Time was his enemy
Failure was not an option
Many have stood to face him
Many have failed in their quest
To stay his hand
There is only one who can conquer
The cold heart
Who can bear the icy countenance
Only one who can succeed
Where all have failed
The enemy is within
It is fear, and hatred, and
The narcissistic inclination
For retribution
For the grief sustained
There is but one who can quill the mortal enemy of my subconscious awareness and
The demons that drive it
And that warrior is
Me
An Original Poem By H.R. Beebe
An Empty Endeavor
Narcissistic endeavors
In the face of bitter resolve
Need that must be heeded
Regardless of despair
Objections of those manipulated
Without a second thought
Or care
To use without feeling
Or regret
Simply to serve your purpose
Your pursuit of your wants, your aspirations
And they can believe whatever they want
As you achieve your goals
Your dreams
You aquire and discard
The wretched fools
Who searches for fulfillment in another’s smile
Another’s eyes
They become the fodder of your desire
They experience the season of their discontent
As you trample their hearts and dreams
To satisfy your lust for happiness
For security
They matter not as the cast-off vessels
Merely a means to an end
In the game of ambition
A stepping stone of acquisition
And Abandonment
Your care dried up long ago
In truth, your love died
As you hardened your heart
And walled off your soul
Becoming your own worst enemy
An indifferent participant
In the failure
Of your own shattered, wretched
Life
An Original Poem By H.R. Beebe
A Bitter Truth Of Life
Pain comes not from my enemies
For they understand me
Much more than my loves
They know my ambitions
And my deepest desires
Because they have them too
My loves don’t know me
They are with me, but in truth
They are with themselves
Their own needs rule their thoughts
Their hearts
I am but a facilitator
Of their happiness
Not the true source
They want me for their narcissistic pleasures
Not as a partner in of experience
Not a co-lover of need
But a surrogate of their happiness
They imagine me a puppet of desire
To solve the conundrum of loneliness
The answer to troubles they experienced
Not an equal
Not a true love
Just a pawn of the moment
Fulfilling a longing
To take place of the empty spaces
A distraction from the longing
They act as the user , and I the used
What is more loathsome?
What is more diabolical?
An enemy who though my rival
My opposite who is honest in their intention
Or my lover who professes caring and love
Yet lies to my face stabs me in my unguarded heart
With a complacent demeanor
And a narcissistic resolve
Which is my closed relationship?
Love.. or hate?
Which is the most
Real?
An Original Poem By H.R. Beebe
The Discarded: The Clarity Of The Dead
Endless days
Like leaves on the ground
Experienced then discarded
Their worth
Only in that moment then
Discarded forgotten to time
Each represented a feeling
Each moment lived
The thirsty crave but a taste of water
To slake their bitter thirst
Those who lost their being
Lust for an instant of that discarded experience
Covent a moment of the forgotten dream
Only to exist in the nothing that defines
The existence after
Their temporal journey
The true worth of those forgotten moments
They are only made manifest after their passing
An Original Poem By H.R. Beebe
The Wicked Game
Empty moments
Caught up in the contemplation
Of the wicked game
Searching for meaning in the chaos
I will not fight for purpose
But I will seek out
The often unobtainable
The game played in bitter rivalry
We grope for a chance
Not a promise
Or a certainty
But a chance
To for an instant
Or an hour
To be happy
We beg, borrow, or steal
To experience it
For an instant
Even for an instant
A chance at love
The ultimate gift
In the unforgiving world
What a cruel joke
What a vile scheme
To give us the idea of happiness
Only to either steal it away
Or make us wait a lifetime
In pain to experience it
Only for a moment or
A day
Then, to snatch it away again
Leaving us lamenting
And
Alone
