Darkness now a friend
As smoke filled the sky 
 the flames leapt toward
The intersection..of death
and chaos..
They ran here..they ran there
Fear thick..it stalked the streets
It’s victim..in the shadows..yet unseen
Loss..the symbol for a lie told to
justify.. a mobs rule
Justice took the train out of town as
hate found a new home
One man’s murder.. a reason for another
Justify as needed..
A mother stands up against a misguided
son..
As a man calls for more murder..more violence..more.. more.. more ..
Satan rented a condo here..as God shed a tear..
Obama blamed the police..as the DA charged them all..
This is not justice.. This is not justice..
And, it didn’t bring peace..
The nation held its breath..the world watched the spectical..
Another mother morned her sons death..
Here is the simple fact..Every life matters..

Hear a question loud
Racism is the same..whatever the flip
Black or White really isn’t the point
Justification of your violence
is wrong all around
All lives matter..race isn’t the point
If you try to justify killing..If you try to justify hate for whatever purpose
Your wrong
White privilege is a lie
Black targeting is a lie
Those who want power are the real enemies
They are the reason why
Everybody else is being made targets
Of these death causing
Lies

Frost..the act of winter death
The heart whose time had came
and left
A sacrament on the alter of Fall’s last
breath
The snow marks its lifes blood passing
away..dead leaves a testament to its existense
White covers the corpse of trees that had
shed their last leaf..
Renewal their last dream..of sun and warmth..
As death takes them
The moon rose..
Behind a cloud filled sky

Twilight Lost
the light
left in
relief
The landscape stood
In silent
Witness
A cold stark
Image
of what was
and will be
Secreted
Communication
Hidden from
the shining world
A ward of
Shadows
Guiding unknown
the path of
darkness
Ever A
Mystery  to
the day
Icy Heart
Images of
A world separate
by a moment
So close
Yet
ever parted
Lovers destined
to face
Lonliness
A love never
Realized

Lost..the reality of my youth..gone are the solid bulwark of surety that was the world I called home. A storm came..and once it was gone..So to was my understanding..I’m left with only the past to ensure sanity and peace.

What is Real? A Thought? A Memory? A Touch? Yesterday is gone.. Tomorrow yet come..Only this moment is real..The rest
Is just an illusion.

Click..flash..did it happen again..my world changed by a singlar act.. All has become fluid..changing.. like a dream..yet there is no waking.
We rise, we experience and then like the pages of a book..they flip to the next chapter.
This reality once so solid..so reliable..is nothing, but an ever changing illusion.
As we stand witness to the spectacle
It vanishes..reforms then vanishes again
Like clouds on a windy day..there for a time
Then gone.

I lost the fear of my youth,
Now that I understand the truth,
That we walk this life together,
Yet sometimes we all have to
Stand alone.

Free..in a place where everything is controlled
What you eat..what you say..what you..think..
Lost is a land that you were born to
A world which may well be alien if you look to close
A veil pull over you’re eyes as you are told the same lies you’re parents were told before you
Yet, now the lie is evident..obvious..and everyone knows it..
That’s what the great deception is..you know it’s happening
Yet,
There is nothing you can do, but try to remain calm..
And, keep moving..forward.

Under a shattered sky..the people lamented their plight..with the snow now mounting..a north wind it’s constant companion..darkness reigned
