The Change And The Effect

See the beauty through the
pain
See the Sun through the
rain
The more that it seems to
change
The more it remains the
same
If they up an walk away
Nothing is lost
Nothing is gained
The world just keep
rolling on
Like your breath in the
cold..
There for a minute..then
gone
In the end..was it good
was it bad?
Sometimes it’s neither
just an experience to be
had
Then you just move..
On

Reap What You Sow

Scattered like dirt, they throw their words
Aspirations of silence, their only goal
First they warn, then they challenge
Like a buzzing bee, do what I say
It’s the only way, then they try force
The sting of their words meant to silence
Their true nature is revealed, Their threats
Meaningless, As their fear is revealed a word
At a time, With fear and loneliness their only
Reward. As a mirror reflects you’re image
Life will reflect you’re true nature as the wheel
Of life turns, others will see you’re true self

They Call It Inclusiveness, I Call It Evil

The curse was passed for hate to fester
Wrong isn’t wrong when it isn’t you
They look to genocide, yet they talk of inclusiveness
When a gender can be marked for death it’s time
to stop.
We face the same black evil that has killed indescriminitely in the early 1900’s, in the 1930’s and
40’s when anyone could be a target.
Now, being a Christian can get you burned alive, shot
or crucified in the middle east.
Did we learn anything? Or is the same evil with a new face attempting to resurrect the same old evil for this new generation?
If your White..You have a right to live
If your Christian you have a right to live
If you have a problem with this..
Then you are the problem
You are the evil
Race is irrelevant
Religion is irrelevant
Life is a right we all possess
If you speak openly of genocide
Or religious cleansing
You are the problem
The evil
Not..the..
solution.

A Bitter Truth, A Virtual Lesson

Symbols and Words changing by the
day
Sometimes silence is a friend when
words become weaponized
Emotions become bitter pills
That must be swallowed to hide
When the truth becomes the sign that
is hidden in plain sight
When you become a stranger, somehow from
one day to the next
Everybody knew, but you.. you didn’t even
get the text
You wonder one day, “What’s this all about?”
No answer comes, to take away you’re doubt
The bitter rub, the silent joke, is that the
pain when it appears might not even be yours
rather, just some guy you know
How well does anybody really know anyone
When, the closest you get is a picture..a word..
or a email sent to the wrong address
Oh, this world of the baud, of the net of the
line, is real enough to sustain when all alone
Where relations are so real..so solid..so strong
Until.. one day you wake to find you are left
Virtually, alone..
You have been played..
The avatar you thought you’re friend
Had gotten bored
Unplugged
What of you..?
The truth becomes clear..
There never was a relationship
Just you talking to a microphone
Sitting at a desk, in a room
Alone.

A Ghost In The Machine

I feel like a ghost in the machine
I’m here as me, but not real
To the rest
I believe when Im told
However, maybe because I’m a empath
The pain I hold is sometimes more than mine
I am a friend, a comforter, a confidant
Yet, truth be told
I’m just a place holder
A substitute
For “real”, held in place by
Emotions that seem real
However, are they, really?
Or, just a ghost like me
To talk to
Share with
Then
Gone
I logged in
You were off line.

A Generation Lost in Time

Lost the luster, of my youth
A generation, not raised but rushed
We weren’t taught the lessons of
our forebearers
Left to find, what our parents had
done
Forced to face our predecessors
failures, alone with many still
paying for foolish youth as adults
Passing their failure
Not facing it
Our world became skewed
Empty, Meaningless
As we watch it crumble
A piece at a time
We feared the return of
The past, as War loomed
Then it fell apart
The buildings crumbled
As War began
Our children’s Vietnam
A decade lost to time
We watched the war
We fought and died
We always believed it would
End
The world divided
Who was the enemy?
No matter who we conquered
Always Another
In the end we may find
when the smoke clears
The enemy was
Us.

Requiem To Peace

Alone, no matter who is near
As the losses mount..
to many losses
The sanctuaries I have had, seem
lost now, I can find no solace
No peace
I search for a solitary moment
Of quiet, to calm my soul
To uplift my spirit
And find, dry desolate ground
Where the grass once grew
Darkness is not a thing, but
An absence of it ..
As death is not a thing, but
The absence of it..
I cry out in my pain, driven
at times to my knees by it
Comfored by the only One
who truly understands
Even as it
Continues.

Under A Troubled Sky

From time immemorial the lights
guided our way through the
azure landscape
The surety of there apparent
stillness, lead our way
Yet, we abided on a fable that
though peace giving was
false
Our position was troubled,
our place unknown as
The truth became visible
The grand vista, the marvelous
canvas, revealed it’s true nature
before us, a skyscape we
never knew
As we witnessed the change
Standing in awe and wonder
At the spectacle playing out
before our eyes
We understood, for perhaps
the first time
That we lived in a reality
We never really knew, and
The vastness of the deception
That had transpired, to us
Leaving us to a strange sky
Bequeath an even stranger
world
We thought was our home
Yet, in the end was
not.

Echos

The land changed, in blink of an
eye.. it change
Leaving an image of what was in the brick red soil
A shadow..
An Echo
Is what remained
Each time we cascaded in another
one, the energy came
A wave, A frequency change
The energy washed over the land
The planets, a star now made white
Transformed into a blinding orb
Beating down, yet it is lessened
An Echo.. of A once yellow beauty
Deformed into that thing in the sky
Time is nothing, Space a mere medium
A dark sea, on which we find our solar
system afloat in.. as we move..where to
A Mystery
The sky darkens in azure and grays, yet even
that exists as if a picture,
An Echo, of it’s wonder, as if mechanical
A image, recreated nightly without the
splendor or passion which was the
nocturnal experience
As we watched the changes, we hoped to
understand, the why, the colors melded into
day break. We pondered in awe, as we saw
the changes
Some cried
Some lamented the world we lost
While still others walked on oblivious
Completely unaware of their own nature
Their own circumstance
Their own World
Which was now a mere shadow of what was
Like a film noir, where the real world is
lost in darkness
This is where humanity now resides
lost in their ignorance, just shadows moving
because it’s what they did.. and still do
zombies feeding off each other..
Mere images..
Shadows

The Old is No More

Something is coming
I feel it, just there outside
my sight
A devil in the mist
A demon from the pit

I tried to tell others
They couldn’t hear me
Like a cloud in a storm
My words, just blew away

The world is different now
The old has passed away
A new day, a new Paradigm
As the day shifted to night

Everything is changing,
There is no residue
Nothing to show
Like a Ghost in the dark
That disappears with the
first light

If you can hear my words
If you can feel it too
The time is now
As Fall is upon us
And Winter
Is Soon
