Just After Dawn

Stars spin the heaven bright
Yet, the light is not mine
Gold, Silver and Red
They twinkle
They say the light
Is Prehistoric
All we see are the
Imagines of what was
Then why do I see
The change?
The North Star has
Shed it’s home
As has Orion
The triune
Has lost it heavenly
Seat
If the light is what
Was…
Then
Why do we see
The Changes
Now?

An Original Poem by H.R. Beebe

Passed The Rain

I saw the clouds gather
A rain drop, punctuated
A dark thought,
The rain came in sheets
I stood there ignoring the
Present, I can’t bear the
Moment, I was lost in my misery
Alone, with the pain
A pain I can’t share..
I began to walk
To nowhere, just away
Searching for peace
Not finding it
Memories, like raindrops
Strike my brain
Each one a cut,
Each one a slash
The hatred,
The Anguish
I faced them ..alone
As I always have
The rain intensified..
As did the memories
Why? Was I different?
Did they truly hate
Me?
I ended up suffering
Every Embarrassing
Moment
Every strike, Every
Angry word..
I realized that my
Life had been one
Big circle..and once
I broke the cycle
It was too late..
I looked up and realized
I was at a dead end
With nothing I could
Say..they had died
I was left to remember
It all..the anguish.. the
Pain..
I stood there on a dead end
Road..soaked..alone
I turned back..
As the rain continued
To..Fall

An Original Poem by H.R. Beebe

As The Light Fades..

..in a moment of clarity
I understood that
Death can’t solve
A political debate
A mushroom cloud
Is not..
A flag of peace..
A bloody face..doesn’t
Prove your
Point
Acting like a facist
Just proves you
Are what you protest
A oil well is not a reason
For others to perish
A dollar isn’t the answer
For human’s hung on a
Cross
Religion of Peace?
As they burned on the
Beach
Beheaded for a idea
Killed for a dream
As they jumped and
Died..did you stop
For just a moment to
Ask “Why?”
The endeavors of men..
Appear so base
So dark
As I turn on the news
Another bomb went off
A commercial about ED
A pedophile talks about
Children’s right to gender
Another..day in
Hell
