A Memory, A Dream

In azure blues
My dreams appear
Vivid dreams of
Of dresses and
Long hair of
Of beauty and youth
Of life and handsome
Men
A life full of all the
Things a life could
Hope to share
Orgasmic wonder as
Soft skin ..in cool days
Followed by hot nights
Fullfilled, my dreams
Come back to me
As I contemplate
My life, my experience
I remember it
I revel in it
As night falls in
Dark blues..
I think back
Close my eyes
An relive it all
Again

The Wind and The Trees

Moving through the trees..running
With scent of leaves and moss
Grey fur flashes through patches of
Moon light the wolf stalks it’s prey
Above, in the zephr wind sharp eyes
Stare down, soaring on the thermals
never missing a meal
In the clearing where the trees parted
a rabbit stopped to sniff the air
A shadow appears, the rabbit now a
feast the wolf now sated. It’s soul
Fulfilled,the forest was quiet..for now
Moving like a ghost dipping, soaring
then dives, a squirrel runs out on a limb
to slow to avoid the talons
The hawk lands on a high boulder to savor
his meal, and for now the sky is peaceful
Until it is time to hunt once more
And for now all that is moving is the wind
and the trees.

I Am The Dreamer

I am the dreamer of dreams
The spark that imagines
A sunrise on a new day
The glimmer of hope when
all seems lost
The secret lover
The shadow that comes to
bed at day’s end
I am the one that knows
your deepest heart
I am the one you can not
forget
I am the dreamer of dreams

No Dominion

I am the immortal heart
Though you stab me, I
remain
Through the shadow of
your contempt I am
still whole
You beat me, yet I persist
In ridiculed accusation
I endure
The pain of your blows
can not end me
I will suffer the memory
of a love that was not
Though you have tried
to break me
I am whole
I am the immortal heart
And I
Remain

Remnants

I see the smiles of the past
Shadows that exist there
Youth, in its prime
A life ahead, the future an open
door

I am privy to the stories
To the experience, I wasn’t
A part
Didn’t share the moments

Like scattered sheets of yellowed
paper, I read the story
Share in the intrigue of
The chapters
Got lost in plot line

The devil is details.
Lost in the future
The story already
Told

Nothing Lasts…

From Pain to Pain
I face each time as if it
was first
As each person who comes
walks away
Until I stand alone again
Sadly when the sun rises
I stand on the side of the
empty road
Where the wind causes
dust to rise in swirls
No one stays
Each desired something
Whatever it was I
couldn’t give it
Alone
I wonder why?
Why I feel the need
To try..to believe
Each time, it will
End differently
Alone
I wanted
I desired
To believe that
it would be different
Yet, I am left with the
Emptiness at the
End of each
encounter
Alone
Hope which was so
bright just seems
Pointless
Why think that
This time would
change fate
When I just find
Myself standing on
the same empty
road…
Alone

The Change And The Effect

See the beauty through the
pain
See the Sun through the
rain
The more that it seems to
change
The more it remains the
same
If they up an walk away
Nothing is lost
Nothing is gained
The world just keep
rolling on
Like your breath in the
cold..
There for a minute..then
gone
In the end..was it good
was it bad?
Sometimes it’s neither
just an experience to be
had
Then you just move..
On

Reap What You Sow

Scattered like dirt, they throw their words
Aspirations of silence, their only goal
First they warn, then they challenge
Like a buzzing bee, do what I say
It’s the only way, then they try force
The sting of their words meant to silence
Their true nature is revealed, Their threats
Meaningless, As their fear is revealed a word
At a time, With fear and loneliness their only
Reward. As a mirror reflects you’re image
Life will reflect you’re true nature as the wheel
Of life turns, others will see you’re true self

They Call It Inclusiveness, I Call It Evil

The curse was passed for hate to fester
Wrong isn’t wrong when it isn’t you
They look to genocide, yet they talk of inclusiveness
When a gender can be marked for death it’s time
to stop.
We face the same black evil that has killed indescriminitely in the early 1900’s, in the 1930’s and
40’s when anyone could be a target.
Now, being a Christian can get you burned alive, shot
or crucified in the middle east.
Did we learn anything? Or is the same evil with a new face attempting to resurrect the same old evil for this new generation?
If your White..You have a right to live
If your Christian you have a right to live
If you have a problem with this..
Then you are the problem
You are the evil
Race is irrelevant
Religion is irrelevant
Life is a right we all possess
If you speak openly of genocide
Or religious cleansing
You are the problem
The evil
Not..the..
solution.

A Bitter Truth, A Virtual Lesson

Symbols and Words changing by the
day
Sometimes silence is a friend when
words become weaponized
Emotions become bitter pills
That must be swallowed to hide
When the truth becomes the sign that
is hidden in plain sight
When you become a stranger, somehow from
one day to the next
Everybody knew, but you.. you didn’t even
get the text
You wonder one day, “What’s this all about?”
No answer comes, to take away you’re doubt
The bitter rub, the silent joke, is that the
pain when it appears might not even be yours
rather, just some guy you know
How well does anybody really know anyone
When, the closest you get is a picture..a word..
or a email sent to the wrong address
Oh, this world of the baud, of the net of the
line, is real enough to sustain when all alone
Where relations are so real..so solid..so strong
Until.. one day you wake to find you are left
Virtually, alone..
You have been played..
The avatar you thought you’re friend
Had gotten bored
Unplugged
What of you..?
The truth becomes clear..
There never was a relationship
Just you talking to a microphone
Sitting at a desk, in a room
Alone.
