I’m lost in my own mind
Where only I can go
No one truly knows me
Only the piece of me I
show
In peace and in pain
That only I know
I face the shadows of
forgotten days
And the phantoms that still
dwell there
A Lifetime of fears
I challenge each time
I close off the world
And travel backward
In time.
